Vegan Snickers

 Vegan Snickers:

For the base:200 g almond flour

 (or grounded almonds in the food processor)

1 tb spoon coconut oil

1 tb spoon honey(or any sweet syrup you like)

1 pinch of salt

For the dates caramel: 10 pitted dates

2 tb spoons peanut butter 

1 tb spoon coconut oil

1 tb spoon honey

hot water( you'll need about 4-5 tb spoons,you just add it untill all becomes like a paste)

Layer of toasted pecans(about 200g)

For the chocolate layer: 200g dark chocolate

1/2 tb spoon coconut oil


In the food  processor you ground your almond(or put your almond flour).You add the rest of the ingredients and mix it untill it forms a dough.

Put it in a tray or a container that you want to use and press it down well with a spoon or a cup,untill it form a nice smooth layer.

In the same food processor you ground your dates first and them you add the rest of the ingredients(except for the water) and you mix well.When it starts to clump,add the water,a tb spoon at a time.You will add water untill the caramel is like a smooth paste.

Add your caramel over the first layer.

In a pan,toast your pecans.I added them over the caramel by simply crushing them with my hands(if you want,you could use a knife ,or a food processor to make smaller bits).

Put your tray in the freezer for about 10 minutes.

In a double boiler put the chocolate along with the coconut oil and melt.Pour it over the pecans layer and let it sit in the fridge for 1 hour.

Cut and enjoy.
